Edison Concours d’Elegance Emcee: Bill Rothermel

Bill Rothermel has had a lifelong interest in cars. As a freelance writer, his work is regularly featured in national, international, and club publications such as Automobile Quarterly, the Flying Lady, Sports Car Market, and Old Cars Weekly. He serves as a catalog writer for RM Auctions/Auctions America as well as other major automotive auction houses. He is a member of the Boards of Directors of the Antique Automobile Club of America Museum, the Rolls-Royce Foundation, and the Boyertown Museum of Historic Vehicles.

An avid automotive historian, Bill provides the color commentary as Master of Ceremonies at the Boca Raton Concours of Elegance, Pinehurst Concours d’Elegance, The Elegance at Hershey, the Pacific Northwest Concours d’Elegance, the 100 Motorcars of Radnor Hunt, the St. Michaels Concours d’Elegance, the Monmouth County Concours d’Elegance, and the Winter Park Concours d’Elegance. He has judged at many major concours throughout the United States. He resides in Lancaster, Pennsylvania and Palm Beach Gardens, Florida.

Roger C. Willbanks has been judging, collecting, exhibiting, and writing about collector cars for 30 years. He judged his first CCCA regional event at the age of 18 and learned at that time how an appreciation and passion for the collector car hobby can be magnified on the show field.

He has been a longtime assistant chief judge at the Meadowbrook and now St. John’s Concours d’ Elegance of America, and he has served as the chief judge for the Concours d’ Elegance of Texas since its inception in 2012. Roger has also exhibited a show car at Pebble Beach with his father every year for over two decades.
